About Nikki Monaghan
Nikki paints using a mix of acrylics, oil pastels and collage. Landscapes and seascapes are her main subject matter, creating memories of these in a quirky manner, where figures and animals may appear in the work. Inspiration also comes from the everyday...the weather, a colour that catches her eye, a situation. She paints on board and canvas which allows her to layer up mediums creating dense rich colours often discarding my paintbrush and using other means of getting paint onto canvas.Other works from this artist
