Eleanor Spens
I am a self taught artist based in Fife and have been painting for many years. I was brought up in a creative household so it was enviable that art was going to be a big part of my life. Having spent the fifteen years in the gallery and workshop side of the business I decided it was time to go back to further developing my own work.
My new work is based on my love of texture, mark making and mono-printing. These elements are incorporated into my collages with paper-cut and metal leaf to create work which is inspired by the local wildlife and nature.
I have work in private collections in the UK, New Zealand and Eire.
