Born in 1965 and with roots in East Lothian, ‘A Lifetime in Landscapes’ best sums up this painter’s life. Always with a curious eye and mind, art and design was forever a passion. Following a long career in Horticulture, Landscape Design and Architecture, the creation of landscapes in the painted form replaces his creating them in the physical.
Now committed entirely to painting, he mostly enjoys plein air work, and studio work from his base in Kinrosshire when the weather is inclement! Working mostly in oils, his work is captured in abstract and traditional forms. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries in the South of England and Scotland, private and corporate collections and 2023 will see his first major solo exhibition at Oxmarket Contemporary Gallery in Chichester.
