Claire was born in Dundee, working from her home studio in Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders. Exploring mixed media and collage, she studied at Edinburgh University and now exhibits widely in public and private galleries at home and abroad. She hopes to create an atmosphere that resonates through the use of colour and symbol, aiming for the work to become a focus for contemplation and for the Vessels to hold meaning for the viewer.
